Research, evaluate and recommend global product strategy for the company’s Information Products & Services.
Manage product lifecycle, work with all related business functions and executive management to achieve the desired customer experience, brand, and revenue goals.
Develop new business cases based on market knowledge, research and input from other customer-facing business units.
Drive the strategic planning process for global products and services and be a trusted advisor to senior management during the formulation, development and execution phases.
Consistently develop and evaluate new business opportunities/ideas/potential relationships for review by senior management.
Integrate market knowledge, strategic insight and a strong user focus to help our organization create excellent, unique new products with sustainable revenue.
Understand the company’s current and evolving business goals and translate them into a maintainable product vision and roadmap in collaboration with others as appropriate.
Serve as the champion for product concept development and product formulation, including early stage concept development as well as end-of life.
Evaluate and offer strategies to expand and enhance existing products within the scope of the overall product strategy.
Direct a team of product management professionals, to ensure successful product launch, positioning, pricing and selling.
20-25% travel required to visit industry contacts, attend trade shows and industry events.
10-15 years of insurance segment experience with demonstrated success in implementing Product Strategy across multiple products and/or product lines, preferably with data and/or data analytic-related products.
Well-connected with key insurance industry constituents, including those in analytical functions.
Experience addressing objections and concerns in a mature and inclusive manner.
Experience with third party relationships, including acquisitions, a plus .
MBA or equivalent.
Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical / critical thinking skills.
Must be creative, innovative, flexible and willing to take risks.
