Description ~

  • Responsible for the financial analysis of a  Property & Casualty Insurance Company.
  • Analyze insurance company financial information and make recommendations regarding the company's financial strength.
  • Interact with top management of insurance companies.
  • Support other financial analysts when needed. 

Requirements ~

  • Minimum 5 years experience in financial analysis, financial reporting or accounting with an insurance company.
  • Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (MBA is a plus).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Statutory Statement and Basic Accounting Principles.
  • Strong Knowledge of GAAP Accounting Principles and SEC filings.
  • Familiarity with underwriting, claims, and loss control functions.
  • Some knowledge of corporate organization formats.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
